16.1以色列全會(huì)眾從以琳起行，在出埃及后第二個(gè)月十五日到了以琳和西乃中間，汛的曠野。

16.2以色列全會(huì)眾在曠野向摩西，亞倫發(fā)怨言，

16.3說，巴不得我們?cè)缢涝诎＜暗兀腿A的手下，那時(shí)我們坐在肉鍋旁邊，吃得飽足。你們將我們領(lǐng)出來，到這曠野，是要叫這全會(huì)眾都餓死啊。

16.4耶和華對(duì)摩西說，我要將糧食從天降給你們。百姓可以出去，每天收每天的分，我好試驗(yàn)他們遵不遵我的法度。

16.5到第六天，他們要把所收進(jìn)來的預(yù)備好了，比每天所收的多一倍。

感謝神今日的所賜的話語。在今天的經(jīng)文當(dāng)中，有一個(gè)詞格外引起了我的注意，那就是“試驗(yàn)”。這個(gè)詞在圣經(jīng)當(dāng)中并不是第一次出現(xiàn)。翻看其他的章節(jié)，我們可以看到在不少的地方也用到了“試驗(yàn)”這個(gè)詞。比如：

創(chuàng)世記     22:1         這些事以后，神要試驗(yàn)亞伯拉罕，就呼叫他說，亞伯拉罕，他說，我在這里。

出埃及記     15:25         摩西呼求耶和華，耶和華指示他一棵樹。他把樹丟在水里，水就變甜了。耶和華在那里為他們定了律例，典章，在那里試驗(yàn)他們，

我們會(huì)很奇怪神為什么要“試驗(yàn)”。神豈不是全知，全能，全在的神嗎？神豈不是洞察人心肺腑的神嗎？那么有什么事情，神不清楚，而要進(jìn)行所謂的“試驗(yàn)”呢？感謝神，我們查看一下圣經(jīng)的英文版本。以出埃及記第十六章第四節(jié)為例。

New Intl.:
Then the LORD said to Moses, "I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions.

King James:
Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

New King James:
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not.

我們發(fā)現(xiàn)在英文版本的圣經(jīng)當(dāng)中，用到了test、prove這兩個(gè)詞。

在牛津字典當(dāng)中，test(v)是這樣解釋的：

test
verb [T]
1 to do something in order to discover if something is safe, works correctly, etc., or if something is present:
The manufacturers are currently testing the new engine.
They tested her blood for signs of the infection.

2 to give someone a set of questions, in order to measure their knowledge or ability:
Will you test me on the chemical formulae I've been learning?

3 If a situation tests someone, it proves how good, strong, etc. they are:
That lecture really tested my powers of endurance, it was so boring.

4 to do a medical examination of part of someone's body or of a particular physical ability

這樣看來，test和我們?cè)谟?jì)算機(jī)程序開發(fā)中的含義相似，就是說，我們?yōu)榱蓑?yàn)證一樣事物是否有合理屬性、動(dòng)作、性能而做出的一系列查錯(cuò)活動(dòng)。查錯(cuò)的目的是為了排除錯(cuò)誤，進(jìn)而讓該事物的屬性、動(dòng)作、性能達(dá)到我們的預(yù)期。

而prove是這樣解釋的：

verb [T; L] proved, proved, ESP. US proven
1 to show a particular result after a period of time:
The operation proved a complete success.
The dispute over the song rights proved impossible to resolve.
[L (+ to be)] The new treatment has proved to be a disaster.

2 prove yourself to show that you are good at something:

也就是說，我們?cè)趐rove一件事情的時(shí)候，代表我們有相當(dāng)?shù)陌盐铡?/p>
