(1) hide from… 這里的意思是躲避起來不受……損害/傷害；躲開……之義，這里是介詞from的一個重要的用法，表示不受……危害/影響；避開。
It is difficult for stars to hide from paparazzi. 明星們要躲開狗仔隊很困難。
You are always hiding from the truth. 你總是不肯面對真相。
包含這個意義的from的常用詞組還有：
