OGRE (Object-Oriented Graphics Rendering Engine) is a scene-oriented, flexible 3D engine written in C++ designed to make it easier and more intuitive for developers to produce applications utilising hardware-accelerated 3D graphics. The class library abstracts all the details of using the underlying system libraries like Direct3D and OpenGL and provides an interface based on world objects and other intuitive classes.

不是！
Ogre
只是一個圖形引擎！而一個游戲引擎還包括很多的東西，像物理引擎（用來處理物理世界的物體之間的關系的，比如說反彈、碰撞等）、音效等。不過
Ogre
可以用來開發游戲引擎，而且又成功的案例，有一個好象叫做十字生命章的好像，還拿了不少獎呢。

Is it really free?
