matlab沒有歸一化,但如果B正定對稱，它是用cholesky轉化為標準對稱特征分解問題，調用LAPACK的DSYEV函數，所以自然就關于B歸一化了，如果B不正定，調用QZ的話就不知道是不是這樣了

在做人臉識別的時候經常與協方差矩陣打交道，但一直也只是知道其形式，而對其意義卻比較模糊，現在我根據單變量的協方差給出協方差矩陣的詳細推導以及在不同應用背景下的不同形式。

 

變量說明：

設為一組隨機變量，這些隨機變量構成隨機向量 ，每個隨機變量有m個樣本，則有樣本矩陣

補充說明：

 

1、協方差矩陣中的每一個元素是表示的隨機向量X的不同分量之間的協方差，而不是不同樣本之間的協方差，如元素Cij就是反映的隨機變量Xi, Xj的協方差。

2、協方差是反映的變量之間的二階統計特性，如果隨機向量的不同分量之間的相關性很小，則所得的協方差矩陣幾乎是一個對角矩陣。對于一些特殊的應用場合，為了使隨機向量的長度較小，可以采用主成分分析的方法，使變換之后的變量的協方差矩陣完全是一個對角矩陣，之后就可以舍棄一些能量較小的分量了（對角線上的元素反映的是方差，也就是交流能量）。特別是在模式識別領域，當模式向量的維數過高時會影響識別系統的泛化性能，經常需要做這樣的處理。

3、必須注意的是，這里所得到的式（5）和式（6）給出的只是隨機向量協方差矩陣真實值的一個估計（即由所測的樣本的值來表示的，隨著樣本取值的不同會發生變化），故而所得的協方差矩陣是依賴于采樣樣本的，并且樣本的數目越多，樣本在總體中的覆蓋面越廣，則所得的協方差矩陣越可靠。

4、如同協方差和相關系數的關系一樣，我們有時為了能夠更直觀地知道隨機向量的不同分量之間的相關性究竟有多大，還會引入相關系數矩陣。

                                                             同一主題論文發表對專利授權的影響

　　科技人員作出研究以后，都希望成果盡早以論文形式發表，而現在許多人還會選擇將科研成果申請專利，以知識產權的法律形式將成果保護起來。大量事實證明，論文發表的時機如果不當，極有可能造成科研成果喪失新穎性，對專利授權帶來負面影響。本文通過分析，提醒廣大科技工作者當科研成果作出以后的后續保護行為及應注意的問題。

　　科技成果一般采用驗收、報獎、登記制度及學術論文為評價方式，其中科技論文是由科技工作者對其創造研究進行理論分析和科學總結的智力成果，科技論文的數量以及出版社等級可以用來評定科技人員的職稱，且作為考核科研機構的標準?？茖W技術人員作出其研究以后，都希望成果盡早以論文形式發表；而將科研成果申請專利是將成果以知識產權的法律形式保護起來。

　　論文發表的時機不當對專利授權帶來負面影響

　　廣大科技人員有發表論文的積極性的同時，卻往往忽略了一個問題：即將科研成果以知識產權的法律形式保護起來的時間。一般情況下論文發表在專利申請之前，該論文的發表對專利申請的審查會帶來負面影響，即與專利申請同一主題的論文，在申請日前一旦發表公開就會破壞之后的專利申請的新穎性，導致因該專利技術失去了新穎性而不能取得專利權，即申請專利的公開使其成為公有技術，影響了以后的專利授權，從而丟失了本來能得到、應得到且想得到的權利。常忽略的另一個問題是：也有些科技人員不大清楚自己的研究成果就是發明創造，只知道搶先一步發表論文，盡量做到及時、準確和完整，不知道申請專利，從而因“拱手奉獻”、與他人“共享”而丟失了可以法律形式明確的、本來屬于自己的權利。

　　提請科技人員注意的是：雖然專利申請前發表論文對專利申請有負面影響，但申請專利并不影響申請后論文的在后發表，從專利新穎性的角度考慮，慎重選擇論文發表的時間，確保論文發表的時間要在專利申請之后，即申請專利在先，論文發表在后才是權宜之計，因為這樣做專利的新穎性和創造性不受影響，也避免了實用新型（不實審）專利事后被別人提出無效請求的可能，使科研論文成果得到著作權和專利權的雙重保護。

　　論文發表和專利申請應注意的問題

　　第一，做好技術保密

　　商業秘密、科技論文作品著作權和專利均屬于人類智力活動的成果，屬知識產權保護內容。根據《中華人民共和國反不正當競爭法》第十條和《國家工商行政管理局關于禁止侵犯商業秘密行為的若干規定（98）修訂》第二條的定義：商業秘密，是指不為公眾所知悉、能為權利人帶來經濟利益、具有實用性并經權利人采取保密措施的技術信息和經營信息。其中的技術信息是指秘訣、工藝流程、設計圖紙、技術情報科學方面的專有知識。

　　不管是論文發表還是專利申請都涉及保留商業秘密的問題。兩者均要公開進入公共領域，會被公眾所利用，因此，基于知識產權戰略和商業秘密兩方面的考慮，可在適當保留技術秘密的前提下對其成果進行公開。當然要在使發表的論文具有獨創性或申請的專利能授權的基礎上再進行戰略性的取舍，這是廣大科技工作者應該重視的問題。

　　另外，還需要考慮的是，不是任何研究的成果都必須發表論文或申請專利，比如美國“可口可樂”配方作為商業秘密，至今已保密了100多年，如果申請專利或是發表論文，這一技術早已公之于眾了。

　　發明人對自己的新技術是選擇技術秘密或專利保護取決于各種因素，發明人可以綜合考慮以上的各點，作出自己的選擇。如果某種技術他人很難發現，作為商業秘密保護也會帶來很多的利益。

　　第二，選好論文及專利申請的立題角度

　　如果論文急需發表，來不及申請專利，為避免問題的發生，要保證論文內容不要和專利保護方案重疊。論文可重點對成果進行理論分析和取得的應用效果上進行科學的總結，回避專利將要保護的結構和方法內容。只要論文立題的角度和專利方案不發生重疊，也可先發表論文，因其內容不影響在后專利申請的新穎性，專利申請也會因符合專利法而授權。（知識產權報　韓 萍  周秀梅）

 學法：先看無字幕版，再看有字幕版，每個最少最少看兩篇，直至閉目聽懂。 一定認真聽記筆記，很多課程都僅聽一次
